Welcome to the Illinois Masonic Internal Medicine Residency website.

We train diverse physicians to deliver excellent patient-centered care to a diverse patient population here on the beautiful North side of Chicago. Our vision is to develop aspirational physicians who deliver excellent patient care and are empowered to achieve their personal and professional goals. Each year, our residents match into competitive fellowship positions across the country and secure incredible opportunities in hospitalist and primary care medicine.

My personal endeavor includes training our residents in Lifestyle Medicine focusing on nutrition, physical activity, sleep and stress management, substance use and social connection. Here at Masonic, you learn the latest evidence-based medicine for new and innovative treatments, but also learn the fundamentals of helping patients lead healthy and fulfilling lives coaching them through the ultimate first-line therapy of lifestyle change.
